Came out to eat with my fiance for his birthday. Food was great and Gwen (Lilli Reinahart lookalike) gave the best service. Was very attentive and kind. Asked if it was okay to bring out a celebratory dessert (he doesn’t like attention so her asking was very appreciated) and asked to take a picture of us when she saw us trying to take a selfie together. VERY very sweet girl. Definitely hope to have her as our server again when we come back (:

We had a wonderful experience at The Boat House! It was our first time here, and we were so pleased by the environment and beautiful views of the James River. Our server, Gwen, was exceptional, very attentive, and went above and beyond. The meal was delicious and fresh, clearly made with high quality, carefully selected ingredients. We were very impressed and can’t wait to come again!

Visiting in town with my family and our first night we wanted something close to our air bnb. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was nice and not crowded for 6:30pm on a Wednesday. I had Tacos and fries with Brussels sprouts. No reservation needed. We will be back for lunch before we leave.

Delightful dinner! We went to have dinner at this fine-dining restaurant with our friend cum colleague. The ambience was great. They have covered front and side outdoor patios from where one may enjoy the panoramic view of the Richmond City skyline and James River. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The serving time was not particularly long. As our friend had previously visited this place, she helped us in choosing food. The taste of each dish we ordered were superb and made with fresh ingredients. The chocolate chip cookie topped with vanilla ice cream dessert was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the vibes and their local seafood. I highly recommend this place. Our orders were- Beverage- Berry Mojito, Gold Rush Appetizer- Fried Oysters, Mussels Main Course- Crab Cake Sandwich, Shrimp Tacos, Shrimp n Grits with Crab Dessert- Classic Zookie

We hosted a Graduation party for my daughter in the Crows Nest at Sunday Park. It was perfect! The food, the view, the service....everything exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend.

An upscale restaurant looking over James river with beautiful views of the river in daytime. Food was great and portions were large. I ordered calamari and it was almost 3 times as much as what I regularly get as an appetizer. The gentleman serving me spent time making sure I understand the items on the menu and choose the best option. The interior is beautiful and almost everyone was dressed up! I enjoyed my food which was grilled salmon with vegetables and mashed potato and had a beer before the main with the calamari. The price was on the expensive end of the spectrum but the quality and the venue justified it

My husband and I came here for our 5th year anniversary and we couldn’t have gone to a better place. We travelled a little over an hour to eat here and as soon as we walked in we felt welcomed. The hostess was very nice and took us to the best seat in the house, a corner booth overlooking the river. As soon as our waiter came to greet us he knew it was our anniversary (my sister in law called beforehand to tell them). The drinks were divine and the food was even better! We got some oysters, scallops, shrimp, crab cakes, salmon and it was all delicious! Great service, food & experience! We will definitely be recommending this restaurant and our waiter, Sam. Thank y’all for making us have a wonderful anniversary dinner!

My husband and I are visiting from out of town. The atmosphere was really nice and our hostesses were very accommodating with our reservation. We had the delight of having Emma as our waitress and she was a doll. She was very accommodating. we were inside during happy hour, and I asked her if we could move our table outside, even though it was a little chilly and she made it a smooth transition, and we kept her as our waitress out there because she was so sweet and kind. The food was really good as well and everything was delicious. Would definitely go back!
